why does my baby bearded dragon puff up and arm wave at the other beardi?
they are about 3 weeks old and about 3-4''. One is most of the time a dull colour and the other one is showing lots of colour
the colourful one is the one thats normal the dull one is puffing up and waving
The waving indicates a submissive behavior meaning please don't mess with me. When they're older it usually means you better stay away. The puffing up is similar and is their way of showing who's the boss. It's totally normal but just be sure that they are both getting their fair share of food. If one isn't growing fast enough then it is time to seperate them.
