herbs for protection yay or nay? no religious bickering please.?
I am a christian, I've been christian since i was born. I've also been interested in the paranormal for years. My friends and I decided over the summer we would grab our buddies and go investigate "haunted" locations. I have always been more sensitive to entities, I've been attacked by ghosts, and I have communicated to spirits. my question is- I have been told herbs can help protect me from negative entities, is this a No No for a christian?
i am not any specific form of christian. I am a mix of views from all forms of christianity. i want to know that this is defiantly not con sided wicca or witchcraft.
please and thank you
(oh and no "your religion is a lie" crap it will be thumbed down and labled as trolling)
thanks to all ( meaning those that were'nt being complete dicks) who answered this.
Just because Witches and Wiccans make use of herbs does not mean that we are the only ones allowed to do so. If you do not believe as a Wiccan, you are not Wiccan. If you do not practice Witchcraft, you are not a Witch.
Many people of varying faiths and even those who would not assign themselves to any particular faith make use of herbs for various reasons.

just wondering
but no where in the actual bible is the word witch or witchcraft mentioned..and I mean the actual actual translated Hebrew text. Not the king james versions.
and I am JUSTwondering cuz I found this thing on ebay ^_^ and I though it would be fun. But I dont wanna do something that goes against my religion. So Im researching for confirmation
Wicca is a religion. Following that religion would absolutely be against the Christian God as it is about honoring the gods of Wicca.
Wicca is not about spells and a spell has no religion. If you want to cast spells within the Christian belief system, there is a Christian mystical tradition that goes back centuries.
This book is from the 16th century and the man makes an interesting argument that all Christians SHOULD be mages:
MONSTERS:
Sangan
Treeborn Frog
Spirit Reaper
Breaker the Magical Warrior
D.D. Warrior Lady
Cyber Dragon
Jinzo
Zaborg the Thunder Monarch
Mobius the Frost Monarch
Guardian Sphinx
Mystic Swordsman LV2
Giant Rat (3) (to bring out...)
Exiled Force (2)
Goblin Attack Force
Spear Dragon
Insect Knight
Sabersaurus (2)
Luster Dragon (2)
Gemini Elf (2)
Archfiend Soldier (2)
Skilled Dark Magician (2)
SPELLS:
Premature Burial
Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Typhoon
Book of Moon
Nobleman of Crossout
Creature Swap
Brain Control
Lightning Vortex
Hammer Shot (3)
TRAPS:
Mirror Force
Ceasefire
Torrential Tribute
Call of the Haunted
Ring of Destruction
Magic Cylinder
Sakuretsu Armor (3)
You can easily prune a few monsters to get the size better to manage. On the whole, though, there are very few things that stand out as not quite belonging. Guardian Sphinx is out of place here, and Hammer Shot does not belong in a beatdown, where your plan is to have the biggest monster on the field for the vast majority of the duel. Most of the time, Hammer Shot will be a dead draw for you. Instead, as you have the Rats and Exileds, you could try Last Will, though not usually considered a beatdown card. As you might run into a lot of Cyber Dragons, Rush Recklessly might be useful. The one monster I would definitely add to the deck would be Injection Fairy Lily, especially with the Rats to fetch her. As you have Jinzo, you might take out a Sakuretsu Armor or two - more dead draws, those traps, with Jinzo about.
