If you set up a pendulum on the moon, would it swing forever?
There would be no air resistance or wind to slow it down.
There is some material in the space around the moon, perhaps too meager to be called an atmosphere, but it's more crowded with dust and gases than the "empty" space between the stars.
So even though a pendulum would swing for a long, long time, eventually friction of the pivot of the pendulum and pressure from the very thin atmosphere would slow it down and stop it.
I am doing a mojo hand spell to return a love, and at the end of the nine day ritual you are supposed to throw the remainders of the candle and paper with the double crosses on them into some form of running water.
The only place that is available near me is the ocean, and the oil spill is a problem. I was wondering is there is another option that is just as powerful.
I heard to bury your items is good. what would be the proper way of doing that..
thank you so much for your help.
and to all who leave lame comments please dont judge someone or make assumptions about people you dont know.
How do you know I'm not volunteering to help this oil spill..
please..
well what you do comes back to you..
sont say you havent been warned.
Hoodoo magic is different from witchcraft (the sort practiced by WIccans).
I am Wiccan, but know a little about hoodoo (I would still consult someone who knows better than us yabbos on Y!A)
ANY running water will work - the faucet is a good idea) but I have to imagine there is at least a SMALL stream or inlet nearby that isn't affected by the oil - take it there.
I do not suggest burning it - releases are different in hooddo than in witchcraft.
An alternative appropriate for hoodoo besides the running water might be to bury it at a crossroads - then walk away without looking back. The magic will do its thing, and you will be released from having to worry about it. The crossroads are also good fro change and possibilities.

How can i bring back an american car to the US that was imported into Mexico?
The car has no title. I imported a 1960 T bird into Mexico, now i want to bring it back to the US, Can i just drive it back across or haul it without having to legalize it in the US?
It would have to meet US safety and pollution standards before it can be legal here. Attached is what you need to do.
