What is the actor's name who plays the psychic on Los 3 Victorinos?
There is a psychic on Los 3 Victorinos. The actor has blue eyes and a very deep voice. What is his name? IMDB is not showing details. Thanks, I love this show so far, even though my Spanish is ultra minimal.
His name is Claude Pimont, he's the mentalist or psychic on Los Victorinos.

Has anyone Read the Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down?
What is the Big Issue of Concern in this Book? I am reading it for an assignment and want to know what to focus on. Thanks
I have read it. Basically the book is about American doctors having trouble communicating with immigrants due to the immigrants original culture and beliefs not combining well with the science and techniques of the doctors. The doctors want to help, but the people have trouble trusting the doctors because they do not understand what the doctors are trying to do. The book mainly focuses on the old beliefs of what causes epilepsy, which is that a spirit seizes the person and causes the convulsions, and the trouble the people who have these beliefs have with understanding doctors and their modern knowledge of what biologically causes an epileptic seizure and how the doctors want to help epileptics with the people's old belief-based ways of helping epileptics.
I am wondering if Taoists use meditation beads like Buddhists do. I have read everywhere that they do but I have not found exactly how they use them and what the name for the Taoist beads is. Is it just a mala? I know it has 108 beads but any thing else I should know?
Thanks
The mala is used as a self defence weapon martially; a healing tool; a very powerful body realignment tool and as a means to get into a meditative state.
Prayer beads are an essential tool for anyone looking to contact their unconditioned Intelligence and energy. Worn around the neck they can be used to centre the mind by slotting your two thumbs at the lower end and applying some pressure whilst looking at your hands and making mudras with your fingers. You will find that your whole body comes into play when doing this, if done correctly adjusting your feet, legs, clicking in your spine not to mention the rest of your body if you just allow yourself to 'play'.
The mala can be put around the wrists and pressure applied, hold your hands out in front of you and raise them above your head while keeping the pressure on and again it will align your body posture and prepare you for meditation.
You can also use the mala while sitting in a meditation posture to align your body and trigger your energy in preparation for meditation.
If you allow yourself the freedom and spend time using it you will soon find it to be a highly valuable asset for taking you in, releasing energy blocks and physical pain in the body.
Used in conjunction with simple breathing techniques, such as Qigong breathing, hara breathing, or just focussing on your breath while using it will easily triple its power.
