I am in desperate need of Good Luck, Can you suggest spells, or charms or anything i can do to improve my luck
I have good karma, and take the blame for other people mistakes, so i just need some luck to come my way, i just cant win at anything!
Ok number 1 don't take the blame for other people's mistakes it is their mistake not yours. To improve your circumstances start believeing in yourself. You sound very negative and what you think the most of, you will attract. Spells and charms will not help you unless of course your Wiccan. You need to create a peaceful environment and connect with your guardian angel. Create a space that is attractive and peaceful. Candles, flowers, lovely pictures, inspiring music and beautiful things all help to create a positive mood. Meditate and calmly send out a thought requesting their assistance. Angels are always available to comfort and support you and will help when they know you are ready to receive their help. Just ask your guardian angel for help.
somebody left two stacks of ten pennies, all face up, w/ a paper clip bridging the two stacks together on the door step. the only spells i know about that include pennies are voodoo not Wicca. is this santeria?
It's not like any spells ive heard of, especially with a paperclip, coins usually mean prosperity though. And it defiantly wouldn't be Wiccan, unless its a nice spell. maybe someones just playing around.
Wiccan, Pagan or other practitioners of Magick, question!?
Ok, so I am trying to work with a wealth and prosperity spell and it calls for a wealth rune symbol (to be traced onto a high denomination bill) and I dont know which one to use. Can someone explain to me the difference between the following two?:
serious answers only please. And if anyone has tried the "blessed bill" financial prosperity ritual and has been successful, please let me know. I started that today as well!
blessed be!
The first one is the Fehu rune or the first rune of the Futharks (elder & younger) it can loosely symbolize wealth in the context of possessions. It's "meaning" is cattle. The second symbol I am only familiar with in a wiccan context as being a symbol for monetary wealth. It may have a deeper significance than from what I am aware of.
There are specific things that need to be understood when working with the runes for magic as opposed to divination only. Certain critera need to met. It is outlined in Havamal stanza's 138- 165 also in the poem Sigdrifumal

"
Know how to cut them, know how to read them,
Know how to stain them, know how to prove them,
Know how to evoke them, know how to score them,
Know how to send them; know how to send them,"
also you must know how to sacrifce.
Exerpts from Sigdrifumal can be found here

Both can be found in the Poetic Edda. there are many translations about, Hollanders is the standard, but i personally like Larrington's translation, as it is comes from a woman's perspective
If you do not meet the critera than further study may be necessary to achive any results with the runes.
So for now you may be better off using the monetary wealth sigil from many bookstore grimoires (the second one) and research the runes if you are interested in using them. Freya Aswynn, Edred Thorrson & Swain Wodening have lots of good info out there. Sunnyway is also a good resource http://sunnyway.com/runes/
Best of luck to you
What's with the idea that "If magick really worked everyone would be a Witch...?
Obviously there aren't many Witches, which means it can't possibly work." I've heard this argument several times and I just don't get it.
If studying hard really worked, every student would put in three hours a night. If martial arts really worked, everyone would get a black belt.
Why do people use that obviously flawed argument.
PS: No I do not want Jesus. And making fun of people for their beliefs is a really nasty thing to do. Just thought I'd get that out of the way right now.
There IS evidence that magick works. Study quantum physics, for one thing. For another, I would have to be a real idiot to just close my eyes and ears and say "That seems strange so I'm going to pretend it didn't happen." You've never experimented with it, never even thought about it or researched it, but brazenly declare "It doesn't work."
Some of the most amazing Witches I've met are men. Let's not be sexist.
ITA...It is like saying "if modern medicine works, why doesn't everyone have an MD"
Not everyone has the interest, dedication, talent and/or intelligence to be an MD, and not everyone has the interest, dedication talent and/or intelligence to be a practitioner of magick.
