Tell me about Reiki - whether you have studied it or gone for a Reiki Healing Session.?
I am considering studying this and want to know what the public actually think of Reiki. Your genuine feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks
As you may know Reiki helps the flow of the Universal (Rei) Life Force (Ki) within and balance the flow within our bodies. The Reiki energy is a benevolent, tender healer that is beautiful to work with and helps heal yourself.
I came to Reiki needing to feel connected to the Universe and to heal myself. I had been doing six months of yoga with positive results yet no 'connectivity'. Reiki has helped in calming me down and bringing to light deep seated anxieties I've had, but not acknowledged and then helped me release them. The first 21-days after your attuned to Reiki can be quite interesting as these fears, anxieties and toxic thoughts that have been buried come up to the surface. It is best to acknowledge, accept your responsibility in them and lovingly release them to the light.
My sincere bit of advice is, if you feel Reiki calling your name then do it. Go to Reiki with an open heart and Reiki will help send the answers your way. Everyone does Reiki for different reasons, so disregard my experience and expect nothing from it, you'll be positively surprised by Reiki. Good Love to you.

New Age question: How do you release energy from an excessive chakra?
I think visualizing color will only activate it and not balance it. It only works for deficient chakra. I'm not sure if working on the res of the chakras through color vizualizing align them properly. Anyone has a direct answer to how I can release excessive energy that is dominating my chakra?
Stand in the shower with your left hand at the base of your root chakra (tailbone). Take your right hand and, while inhaling, rotate it counter-clockwise a few times in front of the chakra giving you trouble. Then, while exhaling and imagining energy leaving the chakra into your hand, pull your hand slowly away. Rinse your hand under the shower water. Do this until you feel that you have cleared enough out. Then, while exhaling again, rotate your right hand over the chakra clockwise to set it spinning again.
I do this every morning for all my chakras while showering, clearing them out from root to crown, then resetting them again (I visualize the colors at the same time as well). That's probably the best way, as opposed to focusing on one chakra. If you have trouble you could find an energy healer. Villoldo is training them, and I have a great one in my town.
What is your favourite crystal / gemstone and why?
I personally adore Mookaite (Australian Jasper) - the colourful yellow and magenta swirls are gorgeous and when polished, it reminds me of a lolly (sweet)
I also feel very confident and grounded whilst wearing it - seems to make me feel complete
What are your favourites (if any) and why?
I like a real sapphire. Im not sure why.
Its dark and rather mysterious. Not flashy..yet elegant .
I have a one carat marquise cut solitare ring, and I love it.
I dont like the manufactured sapphires.
My birthstone is Opal, and I like those too. The one ring I have has a lot of colors, and when I did office work,I looked at it a lot, under the bright lights at work.
