wicca? pagan? help me?
umm....i don't know much about wicca or pagan, but they sound interesting and i might want to try it to see how it is, but i need some really good sites and info, or if some one could just email me a ton of stuff that would be sooo great.. soda_fish@hotmail.com (don't make fun of me, i made that when i was like five) (uh r we aloud to stick r email addresses on here??)
anyways could i have like some breif descriptions of what u do in each of these, some traditions, and some of the beliefs??

Pagan is a broad term - Wicca, Asatru, Druid, Shaman, etc. are to Pagan as Catholic, Lutheran, Protestant, Baptist, etc. are to Christian.
I can't really give you brief descriptions of all the pagan paths here - there are just too many and I am only fairly well versed in a few beyond my own.
Wicca is a religion, which then has various branches called "traditions" such as Dianic, Gardnerian, Alexandrian, Celtic, etc. The basic commonalities among most Wiccans are belief in divine masculine and feminine - God(s) and Goddess(es), honoring nature and the natural cycles of the year (solstices, equinoxes, moon phases, etc.), and living by a code of ethics based on the Wiccan rede. Beyond that - more detailed beliefs, and practice, will vary from group to group and individual to individual.
I agree with LabGrrl's recommendation - that is one of the best sites to answer questions and learn basics of Wicca. Another good site to poke through would be "The Witches Voice" at http://www.witchvox.com/
Honestly, I don't understand why if you don't know the basics of such paths you think you want to "try it and see how it is". My advice would be to learn what they are first as well as define what your beliefs are and what path may be better suited for you before you "try" anything.
I would suggest taking the "what's your spiritual type" quiz at the link below - based on your answers to a set of questions about your personal beliefs, the results will give you the spiritual paths that are best suited to your beliefs and perhaps then you will have a better idea of where to focus some research and study.
