I have been having excessive, wild dreams lately, every night, and they are really disturbing my sleep. According to the theories of traditional Chinese medicine, excessive dreams are caused by the "ethereal soul" (Mandarin: Hun) drifting (because of liver yin or liver blood deficiency failing to anchor it to the body at night). It is interesting since I have heard theories that some dreams are caused by the drifting of the spirit into the astral plane. So here is my question for those who practice magic. Is there a way to anchor your spirit during sleep? Maybe through the use of some stones/crystals, oils, herbs, spells, potions, a specific meditation technique? Your help will be much appreciated.

I have tried wearing a smoky quartz at night. It's supposed to be grounding, but my soul is apparently still drifting.
Well about the smoky quartz...I have wild dreams with and without it, so I don't think it's causing them.
