Please help me with this problem. I will give you 10 points!?
Okay, you know that pendulum "experiment" where you tie a string on something and let it swing? Well, my math class had to do that but then the paper is asking: "What is the purpose of this and what is the conclusion of doing this" And truthfully, I have no idea what the point is of this math experiment. Like what is the outcome of this? I asked my teacher for help and he said it was about the lesson I just learned which was about integers and the algebraic expressions and all that. But im still alittle confused. So what is the purpose of this math experiment?
Here is the data chart where I put the pendulum info in :

But its just all confusing to me. How is that related to.. math? Im in the 10th grade so I don't want like... a really hard explanation out of this lol.
From this chart you could conclude a number of things. For example, the period of the pendulum increases as the length increases, so it might be possible to write an algebraic expression for the relationship.
If you plot the values of length and period on a graph, it will give you some idea what the relationship may be. For example, do the points fall in a straight line (the variables related by some constant multiplier), or some kind of curve.
It isn't entirely clear to me either how this relates immediately to a lesson on integers and algebraic expressions without knowing a bit more about what sort of expressions were involved. My guess is that perhaps it dealt with direct and inverse relationships or something like that?
