exorcising entities for non catholics/christians?
I love watching ghost shows and paranormal research. One thing I always wondered though...... I always see these people bringing in pastors or Catholic priests to exorcise the demons/entities. What if you don't practice either faith....say, what if you are a Buddhist, or Muslim, or Pagan? Would you still have to bring in a Catholic to banish your demon, or are there other effective methods depending on which religion you prefer? It kinda makes Christian based religions seem like they have all the answers, or at least know a thing or two about exorscisms (now I just gave those followers a big ego I presume).....but I always wondered about that. What are other faiths' methods on banishment?

Catholics have been casting out demons ever since Jesus and the Apostles did it.
Modern psychology says that most of the people who had demons cast out of them were probably miraculously cured from schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. But their cures were still miracles.
The Catholic Church believes that real demonic possessions are rare but possible, so they keep a few exorcists around just in case.
The Church has guidelines in place to take great care to exhaust psychological options before calling in an exorcist.
