I have this Sony camera which is so-called anti-blur. However, most of my shots are not clear enough.?
I have this Sony camera which is so-called anti-blur. However, most of my shots are not clear enough. I followed the instruction to push the shutter till the green on the screen appears, but still the outcome is not very satisfactory. I have turned on the anti-blur. Is there still more I have to do? Or what am I supposed to do to improve the pictures I take. Thanks a lot.
There are two kinds of blur that occurs in pictures:
1) Blur caused by camera movement.
2) Blur caused by subject movement.
The 'anti-blur" on your camera (which Sony calls Super Steady Shot) is only effective with camera movement. It will do nothing for subject movement.
Blur caused by subject movement can only be corrected with a higher shutter speed. You will need to READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual to find out how to get a faster shutter speed.
The lighting conditions you're shooting under also play a major role in what you can do with your shutter speed based on the ISO and f-stop being used.
