1. God Vishnu has Garuda
2. God Shiva has Bull
3. God Shani has crow / piegon
4. God Ganesh has mouse
5. Godess Laxmi has owl
6. Goddess Ganga has crocodile
7. Goddess Durga has lion
8. Goddess Saraswati has peacock
Why do Shree Krishna wears peacock feather ?

i failed in mythology... got 3 marks out of 100.
so i will tell only some which i have idea, not mythological but spiritual and philosophical
Vishnu - Garuda garuda is a very fast, intelligent and active bird...an important one in food chain and to control the overwhelming population of poisnous snakes.... Vishnu preserves the universe so his work is quite similar
Shiva - bull : Bull is strong, innocent and careless animal.... shiva is strong, innocent and doesn't really care for anything...enjoying his creation
Shani - Crow is thought to be a bad omen bird. and shani brings bad luck. Crow is also vahan of Mother Dhumawati, one of the 10 mahavidays... who brings bad luck, widowhood, death of children and poverty...and shani is her spiritual son... hence the crow fits the best
Laxmi - owl... Laxmi...money when comes makes owl of a person... in hindu mythology owl is taken as idiot bird.... so jis par laxmi aa gayi woh ullu ban gaya ...LOL
Ganga - crocodile.... crocodile is literally a cleaner of water...he eats all the dead bodies in water..and is important for environment... Ganges cleans us of our sins
Durga- Lion lion is the king of animlas...strong cruel and fearless.... Durga is queen of all Shaktis she is strong and fearless.... there cant be other better vahan for her
Saraswati- Swan ... Swan or hans is thought to be the most intelligent bird..it is said hans drinks milk from a mixture of milk and water.. it may be a myth but it denotes hans is a bird with Viveka...and Saraswati brings viveka and gyan
Krishna wore peacock feather...(1) sign of beauty (2) also peacok is supposed to be the most romantic bird...
