Help with my eye glass prescription?
My eye glass prescription is:
right eye:
sphere: -0.25
cyl: -0.50
axis:055
left eye:
sphere: plano
cyl: -0.75
axis:135
Does this mean that my left eye is worse than the right? The plano confuses me. I have looked at other answers about plano and they say no correction, but when I was at the doctor office my left eye was way worse.
Someone please help me understand. I hope that the doctor is not wrong.
Sphere- correction for your refractive error (nearsightedness or farsightedness)
Cyl- Amount of astigmatism
Why do you even need glasses? You only have a small amount of astigmatism and almost no refractive error.
Yes your left eye is worse but -0.25 in astigmatism between your left eye and right eye wouldn't be noticeable anyway.
Your sphere of -0.25 probably isn't even noticable either.
