Where does Original Sin reside: bodies or souls?
I'm shamelessly stealing this question from another person's question, but I'd like a more direct answer.
Since Adam and Eve were souls in physical bodies, the only thing we could be descended from actually is their bodies, since all individual souls are the separate children of God, and therefore precious to the Divine.
Since bodies die and are of only temporary usefulness to the radiant Soul, would our Original Sin have not moldered in the grave and our Souls would return to God stainless, regardless of Jesus' sacrifice?
We couldn't be held responsible for the actions of two other souls at the beginning of creation, since their souls were not our souls, right?
